The Cataract Gorge
Hidden in the heart of Launceston this is one of the most incredible places nature has to offer, The Cataract Gorge is a true hidden gem. Perfect for couples or families there is so much to see and do at The Gorge. An old Volcano site the area offers lush green grass and rainforest like areas along with wildlife and a swimming area. Tamar Valley Wine Route
Tasmania’s Tamar Valley has some of the Country’s best Wine and Champagne houses and has to be one of the most scenic areas in the state.

A must have visit for families, Tasmazia is the biggest maze in the world.
Trowunna Wildlife Park
If you are staying at Quamby Home and don’t want to have to drive too far for a Wildlife experience, then the Trowunna Wildlife Park is perfect. The ideal place to see Tasmanian Devils and local wildlife.


Woolmers Estate
Set in a picturesque part of Longford, just a 20 minute drive from Quamby Home, Woolmers Estate is fine example of early convict built colonial architecture and early Tasmanian settlement and is on the world heritage listed convict list.
